HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
November 28
On the very first Thanksgiving, the Pilgrims celebrated surviving the first winter in their new home with the local native American tribes. The fall harvest bounty was in stark contrast to their daily ration of 5 kernels of corn throughout the winter plus limited game to supplement their diet. Just as the Pilgrims had much to celebrate, so do we today. Let us take a moment around our Thanksgiving table to share something that we are grateful for this past year. It’s interesting to hear the different perspectives from the youngest child through teens, adulthood, and seniors. Perhaps this “attitude of gratitude” with family and friends will continue to be part of our lives.
Have a Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving! Safe travels near and far!
