14.1FALL PHOTO CONTESTS

Colors of autumn!  Harvest time!  Apple picking!  Pumpkins and gourds!  Fresh produce!  Mums! And so many other fall scenes from which to choose.  Then there are the activities:  sharing a glass of wine, or a mug of beer; riding a bicycle on the Katy Trail; roaming the quaint, peaceful Town of Augusta;  shopping at local stores; checking out the Augusta Harvest Festival the weekend of September 20-21; and whatever else catches your eye.

Take memorable photos to cherish the moments!  Composition quality is as important as picture clarity.  One standout distinction for an excellent photograph is whether or not someone desires to take a second glance, or a third.  Enter the best one from your collection of memories into the “Best of Augusta” Photo Contest.  Shoot pictures in the town limits of Augusta.  Tell a story.

Additional information is in the September Boone Country Connection and on the Town website.

SEPTEMBER “BEST OF AUGUSTA” PHOTO CONTEST for Adults/Teens  Deadline is September 30.
